A Class I injection well regulated by the U.S. EPA under the Underground Injection Control program — not a Class II well limited to oil and gas produced water. That distinction is the reason Greenleaf can take industrial and non-E&P waters a Class II site has to turn away.
Desander, oil/water separator, recovered oil storage, and injection feed tanks, set in a lined revetment sized for more than 110% of the largest tank.
De-emulsification, mixing, separation, and press/dry equipment, with a tank farm for recovered oil and water. Certified in 2016.

Oversight
The Mesa Facility is a commercial waste treatment, storage, and disposal facility operating on 129.68 acres under a Mesa County Certificate of Designation and Conditional Use Permit.
The current Engineering Design and Operations Plan was submitted to CDPHE in December 2024 as part of the required five-year review. Expected remaining facility life is 30 years or more.
Coverage
Greenleaf sits in the middle of the Piceance Basin on Colorado's Western Slope, which makes it the short haul for most of the region.
That is where most loads come from — but it is not a boundary. Waste is regularly delivered from well outside the basin, and from out of state, when the economics or the permitting work in a generator's favour. If you are weighing a longer haul against a facility that cannot take your stream, call us before you rule it out.

De Beque, CO 81630
The facility sits approximately seven miles south of De Beque along 45 1/2 Road. Trucks reach it from either I-70 or C-330/C-65 via 45 1/2 Road, then take a gravel access road roughly 1,100 feet south to the office and shop, where personnel direct you to the right unload area.
